I've never wanted to be another designer. The world's already full of them. So I stopped decorating. I started questioning. I wanted to understand why some brands stay with you while others disappear. Pretty disappears, ideas don't. That's where my work begins. My name is Martin Unterüberbacher. I'm an independent Brand Developer and Designer based in Vienna. I create brands, concepts and communication that stand for something. Nothing is sacred. Not the brief. Not the strategy. Not the logo. Not the first idea. Not even yours. Not even mine. Every decision has to earn its place. If it doesn't, it's worthless. The best brands don't compete for attention. They deserve it. Simple as that. I challenge. I reduce. I rebuild. I ask "why?". I remove everything that doesn't deserve to stay.
